Equine first aid - FREE!!

Essential skills for every owner

Knowing what to do in an emergency can be the difference between life and death. Having the knowledge to assess and manage an equine emergency can buy precious time before the vet arrives. Taking this equine first aid course will not only give you knowledge and confidence should you ever face illness or injury but will also give you a basic understanding of common conditions and how to manage them.

What will you learn?

By the end of the course you will know how to identify and treat wounds, recognise an unwell equine, know how to recognise and respond to symptoms of common disease, spot the signs of infection, know when to call the vet and have a basic understanding of how to recognise and manage common conditions. With a short assessment at the end of each module and tasks throughout the course, successful completion will give you the knowledge and confidence to care for your horse or pony if they were to become unwell.
